UNDERCUTTING MACHINE FOR MICANITE INSULATION OF FLAT COMMUTATORS UMC300F (ACM75)

UMC300 is destined for the undercutting of the micanite insulation between the commutator bars of starters and other DC electric motors. It is especially suitable for processing of new or rebuilding of old car starter armatures.

The machine is equipped with highly reliable indexing mecanism with photo-electric sensor and step-motor drive, ensuring automatic determination of the commutator bar number and perfect alignment of mica segment with the tool. Automatic detection and ignoring of fault signals. A pneumo-mechanical sensoring mecanism is provided, ensuring the automatic maintaining of the pre-set depth of cutting, irrespective of the flat commutator level variations.
