100 is a special purpose automatic machine for
removing of old paint and rust from the outside
surface of car starter field cases in the
rebuilding industry. A compact bench model, the
machine is provided with entry- and output
magazine for automatic loading and unloading of
the machined parts. The cover has a front door with
transparent screen, interlocked with the abrasive
belt drive unit.
The abrasive belt drive features easy access for
inspecting and changing belt, heavy-duty tension
spring, belt centering adjustment.
The workpiece supporting rollers with their drive
motor are fixed to vertical slide with linear
bearing guideways, located at the rear side. The
up- and down movement of the slide achieve the
bringing of the new workpiece in contact with the
abrasive belt and unloading of the finished one
on the output magazine. The workpiece is retained
at the top end-position for a pre-set time, slow
rotating during the machining. The end position
is adjusted according to the field case diameter
by means of hand wheel controlled stop.
